Terms of service

Who we are

Altar Flame (altarflame.com) is run by Alexandru Marocico, a sole trader, at 73 Scotney Drive, Greenhithe DA9 9ZW, United Kingdom. Email: hello@altarflame.com.

Orders

When you place an order, you're offering to buy. We'll email to confirm we've received it, and the contract is formed when we email to confirm your order has been dispatched. If we can't supply an item, we'll tell you and refund you in full.

Prices and payment

Prices are in pounds sterling and include UK delivery. Payment is taken at checkout. If we've made an obvious pricing error, we'll contact you before dispatch and you can cancel for a full refund.

Discount codes

One code per order. Codes can't be exchanged for cash and may have an end date or a first-order condition, shown with the offer.

Delivery

We deliver to UK addresses only. Some items are sent directly from our UK supplier, so an order with several items may arrive in separate parcels. Delivery times are in our Shipping policy.

Cancellations, returns and faulty items

Your rights to cancel, return and get a refund are set out in our Refund policy. Nothing in these terms affects your statutory rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 or the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013.

Product descriptions

We describe and photograph items as accurately as we can. Wood, metal, leather and glass vary from piece to piece in grain, colour, finish and small marks. Any spiritual, symbolic or traditional meanings we mention are for interest only. We make no claim that any product has a particular effect.

Safe use

Use incense burners and anything that holds a flame on a stable, heat-resistant surface. Never leave them unattended, and keep them away from children and pets. Glass crystal balls can focus sunlight and start a fire, so keep them out of direct sun.

Our liability

We're responsible for loss or damage you suffer that is a foreseeable result of us breaking these terms or failing to use reasonable care. We're not responsible for losses that weren't foreseeable, or for business losses. We don't limit our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that can't legally be limited.

Changes

We may update these terms. The version on this page when you order is the one that applies to your order.

Law

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. If you live in Scotland or Northern Ireland, you can bring claims in your local courts.
